Enter the cave. Walk through the main hallway until you see a room with a waterfall across a gap, and use the Boar form to sprint and jump across that gap to reach the waterfall ledge. Open the chest there. You'll get the Sun Wheel Ring. But next, carefully walk behind the waterfall and follow the hallway to a room with an elevated platform on your left. Open the chest on that platform to receive the scroll that unlocks the Fox form early, so you can transform sooner than usual.
