Dead by Daylight survivors we want added is a conversation that never really stops. Not in Discord servers. Not on Reddit. And definitely not in the comments section of every chapter reveal. The game keeps scooping up horror icons from movies, games, and TV. But some names are still weirdly absent from the roster.

DualShockers contributing writer Elena laid out her personal top 10 wishlist. Some picks are so obvious you will wonder why they are not in the game yet. Others are deep cuts. All of them would make you reinstall immediately.

If any of these characters end up being added in a future update, you can expect people to go crazy and go stupid (in a fun way).

Here is the deal. The survivor roster already pulls from massive horror franchises. Silent Hill has Cheryl Mason and Pyramid Head. Scream has Ghost Face. Stranger Things and Castlevania made the cut. So the door is wide open. That is what makes these omissions sting a little more.

The Duos That Should Have Been Here Already

Some characters refuse to make sense alone. You cannot split them up. The source material does not allow it. And honestly, neither would the fans.

Sam and Dean Deserve a Tuesday

Sam and Dean Winchester sit at number four on the list for a reason. Supernatural ran for fifteen seasons. The fanbase is enormous. These two have already done dimension-hopping canonically thanks to Loki. Getting yanked into The Entity's realm would just be another average week.

They are Hunters. Dealing with monsters is literally the job description. Plus, they crossed over with Scooby-Doo once. The fourth wall is already dust. Seeing them react to Killers they recognize from movies would be pure gold. And yes, the 1967 Impala needs to show up somehow.

Scully and Mulder Are a Package Deal

Dana Scully and Fox Mulder land at number eight. The X-Files is not traditional horror. But neither is Stranger Things. Both deal with the paranormal and the unnatural. The dread is the same. The duo has waded through decades of traumatic oddities. Another dimension full of Killers is not even the weirdest thing on their case files.

Scully might finally believe something is out there after a few trials. The paperwork afterward though. That is the real horror.

Solo Survivors Who Would Own The Fog

Not every pick needs a partner. Some characters stand alone. They have already proven they can survive impossible odds. The Entity's realm is just another test.

Van Helsing Tops the Wishlist

Van Helsing takes the number one spot. He is not just a monster hunter. He is THE Monster Hunter. Bram Stoker created him in the late 1800s. He has been introducing fans to gothic horror ever since. Elena admits the 2004 movie version is her personal favorite. But the beauty of Van Helsing is his flexibility. Developers could design him however they see fit.

His Perks would make him a nightmare for Killers. Maybe that is exactly why he is not in the game yet. He might flip the balance too hard.

Sidney Prescott Is Already Late

This one stings. Scream already has representation. Ghost Face is in the game. But Sidney Prescott, the woman who actually defeated him, is nowhere. She sits at number three on the list. She is The Final Girl. The trope itself deserves a survivor slot.

But that framing misses something. Sidney did not survive four decades of Scream movies on luck. Her intelligence and quick thinking kept her alive. Perks built around that would feel earned. Her iconic phone as a charm is a no-brainer. The title is already picked out too. The Final Girl. Less work for the devs.

Here is who else made the cut from the DualShockers wishlist:

Ellie Williams or Joel Miller from The Last of Us. The HBO show made the franchise mainstream. Both characters already use their environment to survive. Perfect fit. Bricks and bottles as Perks need to happen.
Mio Amakura from Fatal Frame. The Camera Obscura as a gimmick or Charm writes itself. Fatal Frame already collabs with other games. This is a logical next step.
Alexandra Rovias from Eternal Darkness. She handled time travel, dimension hopping, and sanity-bending horrors. A Sanity Meter Perk would be terrifying and perfect.
Isaac Clarke from Dead Space. An engineer who is absolutely done with everything. His Perk should let him fix generators faster. Or just stomp things. Stomping is fun.
Buffy Summers from Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Seven seasons of content to mine for Perks and Charms. She adapts fast and hits hard. Angel could tag along too.

Silent Hill Needs More Love

Silent Hill already has Cheryl Mason and Pyramid Head in the game. A map exists. Some Charms too. But the franchise is surging right now. The Silent Hill 2 Remake brought fans back. Silent Hill f is on the horizon. The fandom is alive and loud.

Elena argues for Shimizu Hinako from Silent Hill f. Her Fox Arm could anchor a unique Perk. She would pair nicely with Cheryl as a parallel to Alessa. A new map based on Ebisugaoka would translate gorgeously into Dead by Daylight's style. Harry Mason, Cheryl's father, is the sentimental alternative. Either way, one survivor from a massive horror franchise is not enough anymore.

What This Wishlist Tells You

Dead by Daylight survivors we want added is not just a fantasy draft. It reveals what the community actually values. Flexibility matters. Van Helsing tops the list because he can be shaped to fit the game. Duos matter. Sam and Dean, Scully and Mulder, Joel and Ellie. Players want chemistry in the Fog.

Behaviour Interactive has never been shy about pulling from across the genre. The question is never if more survivors are coming. It is who makes the cut next.
